SmartMilk
Kenwood Client Project
With 116 million tonnes of dairy products wasted globally (2018) SmartMilk aims to close the gap between the increase in health benefits of fermented foods and reducing food waste in the dairy industry.
SmartMilk is a modular device comprised of 3 banded stackable compartments in which leftover and spoiled dairy, or plant milk can be curdled to produce more food.
The exterior features customisable colours as seen in Kenwood's Kmix range. Each band lights up to represent each day the milk has till fully curdled and can serve as a light feature to a kitchen.
Combined with an app to track the progress of the curdling and interact with the user through recommended recipes
